The Mesopotamia Association prioritizes saving lives and reducing risks in its humanitarian work. In this context, the association’s field teams conducted an awareness campaign in response to the arrival of the first convoy returning to Ras al-Ayn\/Sere Kaniye and its surrounding villages after seven years of displacement.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The primary focus of the campaign was intensive awareness training on the dangers of mines, explosive remnants of war, and unexploded ordnance, targeting more than 600 families in the convoy.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The association distributed brochures and specialized informational materials to raise awareness among the returnees and provide them with basic safety principles to protect them from the threats of unexploded ordnance during the resettlement phase.<\/div>\n
