As part of the efforts of Mesopotamia Association for Relief and Development (MRD)<\/strong> to enhance the safety of returning families, MRD conducted an awareness activity prior to the return date at displacement centers in Al-Hasakeh Governorate.<\/p>\n

The activity targeted displaced families who later returned as part of the third convoy to Serekaniye (Ras al-Ain)<\/strong> on Monday, 5 October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It included awareness sessions and the distribution of informative materials on landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW)<\/strong>, with the aim of increasing families\u2019 awareness of potential risks, preventive measures, and safe practices, helping to support their safety during return and resettlement.<\/p>\n
