As part of its ongoing humanitarian commitment to meeting the needs of affected communities in Syria, Mesopotamia Relief and Development Association continues its relief campaign in the Syrian coastal areas. Food basket distribution is currently underway in several villages in Lattakia Governorate.
The amount allocated for this second convoy of the campaign is 1,500 food baskets, containing basic items that meet the minimum daily needs of families, including legumes, vegetable oil, and sugar.
This aid comes within the context of an urgent response to the difficult economic and living conditions facing the residents of these areas.
Through this initiative, the association aims to enhance food security and achieve a degree of social stability for the most vulnerable groups and families without stable sources of income.
It also seeks to reach the most affected groups through precise mechanisms to identify beneficiaries in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and local councils.
This campaign is part of a series of humanitarian and relief interventions implemented by the Mesopotamia Relief and Development Association across various Syrian regions, based on its vision based on the principles of justice, transparency, and human dignity.
