Today, a humanitarian aid shipment of 50 tons of flour arrived at bakeries in the city of Sweida. The aid was provided by the Mesopotamia Association (Mesopotamia). This aid was delivered following extensive efforts, thanks to the trust and support of donors from the local community in northeastern Syria, and in coordination with the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Hasakah.
This shipment, delivered in full coordination with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, was delivered in response to the severe flour shortage in the governorate, with the aim of enhancing food security and meeting the basic needs of the population.
This step comes within the framework of the Mesopotamia Association’s ongoing commitment to providing humanitarian support in various Syrian regions and wherever needed, seeking to alleviate the suffering of the population and ensure that aid reaches those who deserve it with full transparency and organization.
